Protest actions in Czech Republic, Germany and Italy
Czech Republic - massive protests
Several hundredthousand liter milk have been spilled on fields the 29th and the 30th of October in Czech Republik. The newspaper "Hospodarske Noviny" announced that it be the first time that farmers spill out their products in the country. The President of the agricultural chamber Jan Valeba explianed, that it is an extreme measure, which is due to the desperate situation of the dairy farmers.
Producers express the current critical situation of decreasing numbers of the dairy cows populations and long inactivity of both: national and European politicians.
Germany
More than 2000 dairy farmers demonstrated on the occasion of the annual conference of german Prime ministers the 29th/30th of October. The dairy farmers showed that they will continue fighting for a seminal policy on milk market instead of a non purposive use of money.
On Thursday afternoon, 29th of October, dairy farmers of the Rhineland-Palatinate met in at the "Winterhafen" in Mainz for a vigil and a big fire of protestation.
On Friday, 30th of October, they got support by dairy farmers from all German states. Some came with their tractors, so in Mainz in front of the Favorite Hotel, Karl-Weiser-Str. 1.
