Gründungsversammlung des BDM Young
Hier können wir etwas bewegen!
Berlin. Die offizielle Gründungsversammlung des BDM Young fand am 22.01.2010 im ICC Berlin statt. Anwesend waren rund 120 interessierte junge Leute zwischen 14 und 30 Jahren aus ganz Deutschland. Die Referentin Ilona Zeimens stellte das Konzept des Vereins, der komplett eigenständig fungieren soll, vor.
Die Initiatoren des BDM Young wollen ihr Augenmerk nicht nur auf den Spaßfaktor legen, den eine junge Vereinigung bieten soll, sondern besonders auf die aktive Interessenvertretung junger Milchbauern und bäuerinnen.
Ziel ist es, das WIRGefühl durch Erfahrungsaustausch zu stärken und sich für das Thema Milch in der Öffentlichkeit stark zu machen. Dabei soll in Zukunft unter verantwortlichen Politikern der Agrarpolitik Verbündete gesucht, wie auch mit Kritikern diskutiert und der BDM unterstützt werden. Konkret möchte der BDM Young auf lange Sicht Arbeitsplätze sichern, die durch die nahende Umstrukturierung für Jungbauern in Gefahr sind und sich für eine erzeugerfreundliche Politik einsetzen, die das Fortbestehen einer bäuerlichen Landwirtschaft gewährleisten soll.
In den Bundesvorstand wurden Katharina Laub (Saarland), Ilona Zeimens (RheinlandPfalz), Nadine Reichel (Hessen), Patrick Schäfer (Hessen) und Nils Postma (MecklenburgPommern) gewählt. Zum Bundesvorstandsvorsitzenden wurde Ilona Zeimens gewählt.
Der BDM Young wird sich den ihm bevorstehenden Herausforderungen annehmen.
