More democracy in agriculture

A new campaign was launched in Germany that focuses on issues such as a sustainable food production and agriculture, equality of industrialised and developing countries.

This campaign focuses particularly on the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union. It attaches great importance to the cooperation of consumers and producers and regional production and wants to raise awareness for the fact that overproduction in Europe has severe repercussions for farmers in developing countries as well.

23 organisations (consumer, producer, development aid and environmental organisations) already support this campaign.
