The delivery strike goes on without interruption. In France 40 per cent are participating out of a number of 90.000 french dairy farmers, in Belgium and Luxembourg together already more than 1000 farmers are actively a part of this. Also in Austria several hundred farmers are participating after the annoncation of participating and showing solidarity with the French, the Belgium, the German and the luxembourg dairy farmers. The tendency is increasing.
Dairy farmers from Germany and the Netherlands are also a part of the European delivery stop. There are many farmer assembleys in the next days throughout Germany to increase the participation level of the farmers revolution. The spot market has reacted to the actions. The price for fresh milk rose to 30 Cents/ liter after being widely below 20 cents some weeks before.
In Switzerland, especially in the French part of the country, all signals are showing also towards a milk delivery strike. In the afternoon a press conference will take place concerning the participation of Switzerland. Also in Italy all signals show strongly towards a participation on the strike.
Not only the stop of the milk delivery, but also parallel activityies are taking place in the countries mentioned above. The French farmers for example concentrate on giving milk away for free to consumers, in Austria motorways are blockaded.
