EMB will be there when 22 EU governments do NOT turn a blind eye to the need for change

Press Invitation

At the invitation of French minister Le Maire, 22 representatives of European governments will be discussing a future regulation of the agricultural markets in Paris on 10 December. They have realised that deregulation is no panacea; instead it is often destructive in agriculture. On that day, the European milk producers will also be keeping a close eye on the political representatives, and will be there on the spot.

We wish to invite you, representatives of the media, to the following staged event:

The symbolic eye of the European milk producers will be set up at the the Champ de Mars, Place Jacques RUEFF, Paris on Thursday, 10 December, and watched over by tractors from the 14 member states of the EMB. It symbolises the European dairy farmers’ approval of political decisions aimed at flexible supply control, and stands for the support well over a hundred thousand milk producers in Europe give to those governments that do not turn a blind eye to the necessity for market regulation.
