400 women demonstrated on April 3rd in Poitiers. They demanded better prices (40cts for 1 milk liter) and the creation of a European Milk Office.
They pointed out the current difficult situation by wearing dark clothes to pay tribute to 800 dead producers who killed themselves last year.
Ségolène Royal, president of Poitou-Charentes region participated in order to support the demonstration.
