Demonstration in Plön during the conference of Ministers of Agriculture (28/30 avril) 

The Federal Minister of Agriculture and the Länder Ministers of Agriculture gathered in Plön on April 28-30 to speak about the future of the agricultural policy after 2013 in Germany.

For the occasion, the German farmer's unions BDM and AbL, but also other environmental organisations gathered to interpellate politicians and to point out what direction should take the agricultural policy after 2013. 

200 milk producers from BDM and farmers from AbL demonstrated from Wednesday to Friday with this slogan "we ask for an agricultural policy with one voice". The atmosphere was animated, milk porducers invited the national Minister of Agriculture Ilse Aigner and the regional Minister of Agriculture Juilane Rumpf to drink "fair Milk".

AbL campaigns for a European policy in solidarity with developing countries and a policy which takes more into consideration environment protection, animal welfare, good working conditions and product quality .

or its part, BDM makes concret proposals to support milk producers. Indeed,  debts of milk producers are so high that all the milk producers´ profession is endangered.
