The europewide protests of dairy farmers show first important results. After talks with the dairy farmers of the Austrian IG-Milch the Austrian Chancellor Werner Fayman said officially, that the jobs in the dairy sector are very important. There is the need for a volume regulation. He said he would give 100 per cent support on European and national level. Also in Luxembourg the Premier Minister Jean-Claude Juncker invited the dairy farmers of the Luxembourg LDB and announced his support concerning a modification of the liberal dairy market." Meanwhile in France 15 Million Litres milk were spilled on the acres and in Germany 20.000 dairy farmers participate at the milk delivery stop. The German part of Switzerland is now also stronger involved in the delivery stop. About 100 farmers joined their frenchspeaking Swiss colleagues yesterday.
